Maya Boyd is an award-winning, Ibiza-based journalist, editor and brand consultant. She has written several books about Ibiza, including Assouline’s best-selling Ibiza Bohemia, and is the former Editorial Director of L'Officiel Ibiza, the current Editor at Large of Xarraca Journal and a longtime Balearic contributor at Condé Nast Traveller.

A seasoned host and interviewer, Maya is also the founder of the Ibiza Culture Club, a cultural events programme dedicated to preserving the anthropological and social history, heritage, and folklore of Ibiza and Formentera.

​Maya has lived in Ibiza on and off since her late teens—her father was one of the island’s original hippies—and she has an intimate understanding of the island’s networks and nuance. Maya is an expert in tone of voice, brand positioning and storytelling. She consults for international hospitality groups, luxury lifestyle brands, documentary makers and publishers to bring their Ibiza ideas to life.
